For each setting in which the center provides services, there must be a health, safety, sanitation, and disaster plan that ensures the health and safety of the individuals served. The plan must provide procedures for: (1) Responding to a medical emergency; (2) Responding to fire and natural disasters, including evacuation plans; (3) Training and regularly scheduled drills for fire and natural disasters; (4) Responding to communicable diseases; and (5) Ensuring sanitation of all settings in which services are provided.
