Rulemaking activity
A permit-issuing authority may issue an annual permit which allows the movement on the interstate highway system of a vehicle which cannot maintain a speed of 40 miles per hour. The permit is valid only when no parallel route is available. The vehicle must display flashing warning lights and must be driven as far to the right of the roadway as possible.
