assessment monitoring. With the secretary's approval, the owner or operator may terminate assessment monitoring and return to detection monitoring specified in chapter 74:27:19 if the concentration of all parameters specified by § 74:27:20:02 is at or below ambient groundwater quality for two or more consecutive sampling events in all designated monitored wells. The owner or operator shall notify the secretary in writing 30 days before termination of assessment monitoring.
