After notifying the department that mining in a production area is complete and that ground water restoration has begun, the operator shall sample and complete an analysis of designated baseline wells agreed upon by the department and the operator in the mine production area for all restoration values listed in the permit restoration table on a monthly basis. If this analysis indicates that approved restoration values have been achieved, the operator shall file with the department a written report of the results. After filing the report, restoration sampling shall be conducted at bimonthly intervals.
