The board may accept the following forms of financial assurance: (1) Surety bonds; (2) Certificates of deposit; (3) Irrevocable letters of credit; (4) Cash; and (5) Government securities. The board may not accept as financial assurance any type of self-bond agreement or corporate guarantee.
