74:56:01:51Reporting of hazardous

substance releases from UST systems. In addition to fulfilling all reporting requirements under § 74:56:01:50, each owner or operator of hazardous substance USTs shall, within 30 days after confirmation or discovery of a release to the environment, submit a written report containing the following information to the department: (1) The route of migration of the release to the extent known from available information; (2) Characteristics of the surrounding soil, such as soil composition, geology, hydrogeology, and climate; (3) Results of any monitoring or sampling conducted in connection with the release, if available. If sampling or monitoring data relating to the release are not available within 30 days, these data shall be submitted to the department as soon as they become available; (4) Proximity to downgradient drinking water, surface water, and population areas; and (5) Description of response actions taken or planned.
