Section 18-7-2 — AMENDED
The terms in this chapter mean: (1)"Boundaries of the United States," the geographic boundaries of the United States, Puerto Rico, the United States Virgin Islands, and any territory or insular possession7 subject to the jurisdiction of the United States; (2)"Law," includes a statute, judicial decision or order, rule of court, executive order, and administrative rule, regulation, or order; (3)"Record," information that is inscribed on a tangible medium or that is stored in an11 electronic or other medium and is retrievable in perceivable form; (4)"Sign," with present intent to authenticate or adopt a record to execute or adopt a record: 100 copies were printed on recycled paper by the South DakotaLegislative Research Council at a cost of $.167 per page.v Insertions into existing statutes are indicated by underscores.Deletions from existing statutes are indicated by overstrikes. - 2 -HB 1072 (a)To execute or adopt a tangible symbol; or1 (b)To attach to or logically associate with the record an electronic symbol, sound, or process; (5)"Sworn declaration," a declaration in a signed record given under oath.
