The director of the Division of Criminal Investigation shall prepare guidelines5 and uniform procedures for the reporting of and investigation of missing persons and runaways. Such The guidelines shall be distributed by the director to law enforcement agencies within the7 state. The director of the Division of Criminal Investigation may further establish training8 programs in the area of missing persons and runaway assistance for the education of law9 enforcement personnel within the state.
