Section 2-12-8.2 — AMENDED
No A person is guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor if the person was an elected5 officer,; department or agency head, or; division director, or the highest paid; an employee6 reporting to such person may be the officer, head, or director; an employee of the Governor; an employee serving as a compensated transitional team member for the Governor or Governor- elect; or an employee of the Unified Judicial System, and is compensated, act, or register acts, or registers as a lobbyist, other than a public employee lobbyist, during a period of two years10 after that person's following the person's termination of service in employment with the state11 government.
