Section 1-27-20 — AMENDED
The common language of the state is English, and the official indigenous languages of the state are Lakota, Dakota, and Nakota in recognition of the state's Indian heritage. The6 common language is designated as the language of any official public document or record and7 any official public meeting. 100 copies were printed on recycled paper by the South DakotaLegislative Research Council at a cost of $.167 per page.v Insertions into existing statutes are indicated by underscores.Deletions from existing statutes are indicated by overstrikes.
