. 11-5-4. Duration of restrictions by declaration or contract. The restrictions authorized by §§ 11-5-1 and 11-5-2 shall continue in force for such a period as may be prescribed in such a declaration or contract but not exceeding twenty- five years from the date of such declaration or contract or in perpetuity if a period is not prescribed in the declaration or contract. 9
