Section 39-4-18 — AMENDED
It is a Class 2 misdemeanor for any person to manufacture : (1) Manufacture any article of food which that is adulterated or misbranded, within the meaning of this chapter; (2) Advertise, display, illustrate, represent, offer for sale, or sell a food product, as meat for human consumption, knowing that the product does not comply with the definition of meat, as set forth in § 39-5-6; or (3) Advertise, display, illustrate, represent, offer for sale, or sell a food product, as poultry for human consumption, knowing that the product does not comply with the definition of poultry, as set forth in § 39-4-26. 13
