Section 2-1-1 — AMENDED
All measuresA measure proposed by initiative shall be may only be presented by a petition. The petition shall be signed by not less than five percent of the qualified electors of the state. A constitutional amendment proposed by initiative may only be presented by a petition signed by qualified voters equal in number to at least ten percent of the total votes cast for Governor in the last gubernatorial election. No more than one-thirty-fifth of the number of signatures required to propose a constitutional amendment by initiative may be counted from any one legislative district. 12
