Changes to Existing Law

The Department of Game, Fish and Parks may, with the approval of the Governor and the commissioner of administration, purchase, construct, or otherwise acquire, or contract for the feasibility survey, construction, completion, equipping, or furnishing of, any recreational or parks facility, within any state park or state recreation area, if the Game, Fish and Parks Commission deems the facility to be necessary and feasible. For purposes of this section, a recreational or parks facility does not include a new campground, or additional camping sites within an existing campground.
