South Dakota hunters using firearms to hunt big game (except turkeys and mountain lions) are currently required to wear fluorescent orange clothing above the waist for visibility and safety. This bill allows hunters to wear fluorescent pink instead of—or in addition to—fluorescent orange to meet that requirement. The change applies to hats, caps, shirts, jackets, vests, coveralls, and ponchos worn above the waist.
