NEW SECTION added to Chapter 13-33
The board of each school district shall ensure that the health curriculum offered to students in grades nine through twelve incorporates, by means of oral, written, or digital lessons, or by means of lectures or presentations, information about human sexuality as it relates to sexual activity and pregnancy in the context of student health and healthy relationships, and human biology as it relates to pregnancy and human development inside the womb. The information must include at least two of the following: (1) A video presentation that uses a high-quality, computer-generated rendering or animation to demonstrate the process of a chemical abortion in the first trimester; (2) A video presentation that uses a high-quality, computer-generated rendering or animation to demonstrate the process of a surgical abortion in the first trimester; or (3) A video presentation that uses a high-quality, computer-generated rendering or animation to demonstrate the process of a surgical abortion in the second trimester.
