All members of the Animal Industry Board shall must be residents and electors of the state; one. One member shall must be a cattleman, one member shall must be a sheepman, one member shall must be a livestock feeder, one member shall must be a hog producer, one member shall must be an owner-operator of a livestock auction or commission company, one member shall must be a dairy producer, one member must be a poultry producer, and one member shall must be a veterinarian who is actively engaged in practice in the state. All members, other than the veterinarian, shall must be persons actively and actually raising or marketing livestock or poultry within the state. The 24 members shall must qualify by taking and subscribing the oath of office required of other civil officers of the state. 2
