South Dakota vehicle owners and dealers will now pay additional fees when the state mails decals and license plates to them: $2.50 per decal or set of decals, and $12 per license plate or set of plates. Anyone requesting express mail delivery will have to pay the actual postage and handling costs on top of these new fees. These charges apply across vehicle registration, licensing, and dealer transactions throughout the state.
