This bill increases the property tax exemption for disabled veterans and their surviving spouses from $200,000 to $300,000 of home value. Disabled veterans rated as permanently and totally disabled from service-connected injuries can now exempt a larger portion of their owner-occupied home from property taxes, reducing their annual tax burden.
