South Dakota is setting aside $8 million to pay for road and infrastructure improvements around Ellsworth Air Force Base that are needed because of new construction happening there. The money goes to the South Dakota Ellsworth Development Authority to use for things like road repairs, widening, safety improvements, and engineering studies, with no more than 3 percent spent on administrative costs. The authority must report annually to the governor and legislature on how the money was spent.
This bill does not directly amend codified state law.
