South Dakota county auditors must now send precinct committeeman and committeewoman candidate names and election results to the Secretary of State, who will publish them on the state website. This new requirement applies to all candidates who file to run for these party positions, as well as those who are automatically elected unopposed. The bill declares an emergency to make it effective immediately upon passage.
