Counties must now send written notice to township supervisors at least ten days before holding a public hearing on any conditional use application or appeal for property in their township. This gives local township officials advance notice so they can participate in or monitor land use decisions affecting their areas. The requirement applies only to township supervisors who have filed an oath with the county auditor.
