This bill prohibits certain foreign-controlled entities from owning or controlling real property in South Dakota while military installations operate in the state. The law also prevents these entities from indirectly owning property through other companies or investments. Existing property owners in this category would have a set period to sell their holdings before the restriction takes effect.
This bill does not directly amend codified state law.
