12:56:05:04.12Additional standards for certification in rodent pest control.

In addition to meeting general standards in § 12:56:05:04, applicators seeking certification in rodent pest control not in or around structures must demonstrate knowledge of the biological and behavioral patterns of target and related nontarget species, including: (1) Toxicity levels that may be expected to provide selective control of pest species, without causing significant damage to populations of related nontarget species; (2) Application techniques and practices designed to minimize secondary poisonings of nontarget species; and (3) Proper management and placement techniques of baits.
