At least 30 days prior to the date of initial operation, the interconnection customer shall provide to the public utility evidence of an acceptable plan to self-insure to a level of coverage equivalent to that required under § 20:10:36:26. If an interconnection customer ceases to self-insure to the required level or if the interconnection customer is unable to provide continuing evidence of its ability to self-insure, the interconnection customer shall immediately obtain the coverage otherwise required by this chapter.
