Each continuing education program must be approved by the board. Sponsors must apply for approval to the board, on forms furnished by the board, at least thirty days before the initiation of the course. The board shall send written notice of its approval or disapproval to sponsors. The board must give each approved program an identification number and an hourly value. The board's approval of a program expires at the end of two years. Each program evaluated must be supported by backup material, such as a brochure and learning objectives.
