of permit. A permit expires two years from the date the permittee signs and dates the permit. The permit may be extended for one year if the permittee who signed the permit requests an extension prior to the expiration of the the permit and pays one-half the amount of the original permit. A plumbing installation that is not completed prior to the expiration of the permit may not be completed without a new plumbing permit being submitted.
