course offerings. The commission will accept continuing education courses related to the plumbing trade with a minimum of 2 hours being code related that are offered by the following organizations: (1) Plumbing Commission; (2) South Dakota Association of Plumbing, Heating, Cooling Contractors; (3) International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials; (4) National Association of Plumbing, Heating, Cooling Contractors; (5) South Dakota Rural Water Association; (6) A continuing education course offered in another state may be accepted if the course meets or exceeds the requirements of South Dakota; and (7) A preapproved private organization.
