wastes. Special wastes treatment shall conform to the following standards: (1) Acid and chemical indirect waste pipes shall be of materials unaffected by the discharge of such wastes; (2) In no case may corrosive liquids, spent acids, or other harmful chemicals which might destroy or injure a drain, sewer, soil, or waste pipe or which might create noxious or toxic fumes discharge into the plumbing systems without being thoroughly diluted or neutralized by passing through a dilution or neutralizing device. The device shall be automatically provided with a sufficient intake of diluting water or neutralizing medium to make its contents noninjurious before being discharged into the soil or sewage system.
