An applicant who has completed an elementary preparation program, has passed the state-designated pedagogy test, may request the following endorsements if the applicant has passed the state-designated content test for the requested endorsement. The endorsements are: (1) Early childhood birth through three; (2) Kindergarten through fourth grade English language arts; (3) Kindergarten through fourth grade math; (4) Kindergarten through fourth grade science; and (5) Kindergarten through fourth grade social science. An applicant may request to add the self-contained grades kindergarten through fourth or self-contained grades five through eight, if the applicant has passed the state-designated content test for all four subject areas per grade range.
