requiring pedagogy test and coursework. For an individual who had completed an elementary preparation program, each of the endorsements listed in this section requires completion of state-designated coursework. The endorsements are: (1) Kindergarten through grade 12 classroom technology; (2) Kindergarten through grade 12 distance educator; (3) Secondary deaf or hearing impaired; (4) Secondary blind or visually impaired; and (5) Secondary South Dakota Indian studies. Effective July 1, 2019, passage of the state-designated pedagogy test is also required.
