Reorganization of the Office of Emergency Medical Services to the South Dakota Department of HealthEffective

services not allowed. The department shall only issue a ground ambulance license to an ambulance service that receives and responds to emergency 911 calls. An ambulance service that only provides patient transfer services may not operate in South Dakota.
