Reorganization of the Office of Emergency Medical Services to the South Dakota Department of HealthEffective

Each ground ambulance must be equipped with the following cardiac equipment approved by the Food and Drug Administration: (1) An automated external defibrillator with pediatric capabilities, including child-sized pads and cables or a dose attenuator with adult pads; or (2) A manual monitor defibrillator used by appropriately trained personnel.
