44:05:04:17Storage of ground ambulance equipment and supplies.

Each ground ambulance must provide closed compartments in which required equipment and supplies must be stored. The compartments, equipment, and supplies must be kept free from dust, insects, and rodents. All equipment, both medical and nonmedical, stored in the patient compartment must be secured to prevent injury to the patient or personnel if the ambulance suddenly stops or moves.
