Each resident shall designate an attending physician, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner upon admission. Emergency and arranged medical care must be provided in accordance with written policies and procedures of the facility. A physician, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner shall see each resident at intervals in keeping with the resident's condition, but at least once a year.
