nursery unit. Each nursery shall provide a lavatory, emergency nurses call, oxygen, and facilities for viewing the babies. Each full-term nursery room may contain not more than 12 bassinets with a minimum area of 24 square feet (2.23 square meters) per bassinet. An examination and workroom with lavatory shall be provided and may serve up to 24 bassinets. A janitor's closet for storage of housekeeping supplies and equipment which contains a floor receptor or service sink shall be provided.
