50:01:01:01Definitions.

Terms defined in SDCL 33-1-1 have the same meaning in this chapter. In addition, terms used in this chapter, unless the context plainly requires otherwise, mean: (1) "Single-unit armory," an armory that is solely occupied by a company, battery, detachment, battalion, group, or brigade headquarters; (2) "Multiple-unit armory," an armory which is occupied by more than one national guard or reserve unit; (3) "Joint-user armory," an armory constructed with funds provided by other participants such as cities, counties, and schools; (4) "Armory control board," that entity which is responsible for the carrying out of the rules and policies established by the board of military affairs; (5) "Board of military affairs," that board established pursuant to SDCL 33-1-17 to 33-1-19, inclusive.
