The department shall determine the standard rates of payment for family foster care pursuant to articles 67:12 and 67:14. The payments must cover the cost of maintenance. For short-term group home care and family foster care, reimbursement must be prorated according to days in placement. Group care rates must be determined by the department and include maintenance and service costs.
