to Native American households. Native American households residing in the following counties must apply for assistance to the tribes listed: COUNTY TRIBE Charles Mix Yankton Sioux Todd, Tripp, Mellette, Gregory Rosebud Sioux Jackson, Oglala Lakota, Bennett Oglala Sioux Stanley, Lyman Lower Brule Sioux Dewey, Ziebach Cheyenne Sioux Corson Standing Rock Sioux The department shall deny assistance to Native American households applying through the department but residing in areas served by the tribes listed in this section. The department shall refer those households to the tribe for assistance. The department shall serve Native American households residing in other areas.
