of directional signs prohibited. The following types of directional signs are prohibited: (1) Signs advertising any unlawful activity; (2) Signs which obscure official traffic signs, signals, or devices or which interfere with a driver's view of approaching, merging, or intersecting traffic; (3) Signs which are erected or maintained upon trees or which are painted or drawn upon rocks or other natural features; (4) Signs whose directional or informational message refers to sites no longer in existence or which do not meet the eligibility criteria; (5) Signs which are structurally unsafe or in disrepair; (6) Signs which move or have any animated or moving parts; and (7) Signs located in rest areas, parklands, or scenic areas.
