to be withheld on a person with an apparently valid standard form or bracelet and not in cardiac arrest. If a person with an apparently valid standard form for an EMS cardiopulmonary resuscitation directive or bracelet as provided in this chapter is dying in the natural course of an illness or disease but has not gone into cardiac arrest, emergency medical service personnel shall withhold, or, if already begun, immediately withdraw the following resuscitation measures: (1) Advanced airway procedures; (2) Cardiac medications; and (3) Assisted breathing.
