44:68:02:02Level I, Level II, or Level III trauma hospital

designation. Any hospital applying for Level I, Level II, or Level III trauma hospital designation shall present evidence of current trauma hospital verification from the American College of Surgeons. The department shall issue a certificate of designation with an expiration date consistent with the American College of Surgeons verification expiration date.
