prevention. Each facility shall provide an organized infection control program for preventing, investigating, and controlling infection. The facility shall establish written policies regarding visitation in the various services and departments of the facility. Any visitor who has an infectious disease, who has recently recovered from such a disease, or who has recently had contact with such a disease shall be discouraged from entering the facility.
