Each new boiler must conform to section I, ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, July 1, 2021. The owner shall maintain a record of all materials used in the construction of any portion of the boiler that is under pressure. These records must include the type of welding rod and welding equipment used, the source of the boiler plate and rivets, and the thickness of the materials used.
